Symptoms usually do not develop until vaginal cancer is at an advanced stage, but once the disease becomes invasive, symptoms may include:

• Abnormal vaginal bleeding
• Abnormal vaginal discharge
• An obvious mass
• Pain during intercourse

In more advanced cancers that develop in the vagina, symptoms may include painful urination, constipation and continuous pelvic pain.
